Sage Question

1st, this is a strange one to me, and a search of the forums didn't seem to turn up anything... Can anyone explain why, starting with Sage 3.0 Beta 07 (I think) I now have a Frame-Per-Second counter in the upper right-hand corner of my screen? It's a yellow 30 when playing back videos, and when roaming the Sage menus, it's a red 2...
