Dell Support Problem
I just spent about an hour on the phone with one of Dell's MCE support people and reconfigured everything with no success. They promised to look into it and get back to me. If they can't figure out anything they want me to go to their paid support. Either that or wipe the system clean and start from scratch, which I am only going to do as a last resort if at all.Before paying for support for this I would sure like to eliminate Direcway as the problem or it will be time and money wasted. I talked with Direcway support and they say that there have been no other reports of problems with this. Of course that doesn't mean that there haven't been any.Just for your information the exact error message I get when the download fails in MCE is: "Failure attempting to download new guide data. Code:13"The error message I get when trying to synchronize with an internet time server is: "An error occurred getting the status of the last synchronization. The handle is invalid."Let me know if you figure out anything and I'll do the same.
