VP Consumer Marketing

I am writing at the suggestion of several people -- John Eck at NBC Universal, Blake Callaway at Sci Fi and Abbie Korman at Impact Radio Promotions -- in regards to the VP Consumer Marketing opening in your department. You may recall we connected briefly over the summer when I first moved back to NYC, and since that time I have been doing freelance work for both Discovery Channel and Showtime while I have waited for a suitable opportunity to open up.To refresh your memory, I come most recently from Discovery Channel where I led strategy development and oversaw implementation of consumer marketing plans for the flagship network. At Discovery I directed creative and media teams, as well as a number of outside agencies, to create some of the network's most successful campaigns, including Deadliest Catch, American Chopper and MythBusters. I have a great deal of experience evaluating and recommending network marketing priorities, coordinating with all internal departments to create cohesive campaigns, and creating efficient operating structure to maximize productivity. I would be happy to discuss some of my accomplishments with you in person. Prior to Discovery, I set up and ran Lifetime Television's in-house media agency. In addition, I worked closely with the SVP of Marketing, Advertising
