Powercompress Problems

I am not sure who to direct this email to. I am a power compress customer and in the past the program has been able to compress tv shows. In the past 2 weeks I have tried to compress several tv shows on different channels. Powercompress started to compress the files. About 15-20% into the compression the program gave me an error message that the file is protected. When I right click on the file to get some of the file characteristics the protected flag is set to "NO". I have spoken to technical support and they told me that several broadcasters have begun to protect their files. So here is my question what is the value of your program if you won't compress these files? Frankly, I am disturbed that although your web site states that you won't compress protected files,consumers like myself are being misled. The fact that the protected flag is turned off , my expectation of your product is that you will be able to compress the file. I would very much like someone at Powercompress to explain this situation to me.
