CP says that she is from Cameroon and has only been living in the U.S. for about one year. CP says that she feels that her national origin may have been an issue because during one of her final conversations with Lana Funkhouser about her employment, Funkhouser had asked her something to the effect of, “Where are you from?” CP says she can’t recall the context of the question, but that she doesn’t think it was related to whatever they were talking about at the time, and she feels it reveals a possible bias. CP says that she has no other evidence relating to national origin discrimination.

Hotel Complaint

The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment which we were not informed about. All areas advertised/pictured on the site were inaccessible. Our room was a dingey groundfloor one in amongst the service areas with privacy glass on all windows i.e. no view to the outside. The bathroom lights were not all working and the shower curtain had two good rings with the rest broken. The room smelled damp and musty and was certainly not a 4*. The staff were oblivious to my presence, I was asked the same question four times during check-in. All in all my wifes' birthday was ruined by the whole tawdry experience.
